I was given this energy drink recipe (or as I like to call it, Hot Date Shake) by the Ayurveda specialist I’m seeing. And I’m pretty stoked about it because it’s scrumptious! It’s a great energy booster and easy to make. Here is my version of the recipe:
1 cup of hot milk
2-3 Dates (I like Medjool dates)
10 Almonds (soak overnight then peel off skin)
1 pinch of Cardamom
1 pinch of Saffron
1 shake or two of cinnamon on top
Put it all in a blender on high for a minute or two and enjoy while hot.
